Breakup day for Xmas 2008 will be on December 20th. Start off with the annual Secretary vs Presidents competition. This will be played in mufti this year. Followed by our Xmas dinner. This year it will be a BBQ with Salads then desert. We will also have our mystery Xmas Gift so don't forget to put one under the tree and Santa will give you a lovely suprise. You just never know what you will receive in return.
Champion of Champion games are well under way for both the Ladies and Men.

Opening day was held on the 13th September. There was an excellent turnout of new and old members even though the sun had trouble peeping through the clouds. A few of us need a little more practice to find the jack. However it was lovely to be on the green once again. A beautiful afternoon tea was had by all.
If you have not yet received your 2008-2009 Programme book please see Pauline. Also I have a few Centre Programme books available at a cost of $6.00 each. This book if very handy if you plan to take part in Centre events.

WALLY OF THE MONTH AWARD:-
This has to go to Gordon
Reid. While playing in the Presidents Cup his fellow team members, Lorna
Tibble and Bill Lawton put up some beautiful shots. Gordon then turned to
his opposing skip and stated categorically “I am an inspiration to my
team”. Gordon the proceeded to put up a wrong bias. Well done
Gordon. They did win that game thanks to Lorna and Bill.
